By accessing or using OpenTraid ("Service"), operated by OpenTraid ("we", "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
OpenTraid provides a real-time commerce API and OpenClaw skill that enables AI agents to search, compare, and discover products from curated direct-to-consumer (DTC) stores. The Service includes the API at api.opentraid.com, the OpenClaw skill file (SKILL.md), and related documentation.
Access to the API requires an API key issued by us. You are responsible for keeping your API key confidential. You must not share, publish, or embed your API key in client-side code. We reserve the right to revoke keys that are compromised or misused.
You agree not to:
The Service offers free and paid plans as described on our pricing page. Paid plans are billed monthly. We may change pricing with 30 days' notice. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
Product information displayed through the Service is sourced from third-party stores and affiliate networks. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but do not guarantee that prices, availability, or product details are current or error-free. Purchase transactions occur directly between you and the third-party store — OpenTraid is not a party to those transactions.
Search results may include affiliate links. When a purchase is made through these links, OpenTraid may earn a commission from the store's affiliate program. This does not affect the price you pay.
The Service, including its API, documentation, and skill files, is owned by OpenTraid. You retain ownership of any content you submit through the Service. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, OpenTraid is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We aim to provide high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes.
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your API key will be revoked and your right to use the Service ends.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Berlin, Germany.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
